Wescast is a global operation with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities that feature the latest technology in casting, machining and assembly.

By investing heavily in new machinery, we’re able to produce high precision parts faster and more reliably. We’re also able to better control part costs, quality and delivery since we machine the majority of the parts we cast.

North American Business Unit – Foundry & Machining

Ontario Casting Facility:

  • Products: Exhaust Manifold, Exhaust Assemblies, Exhaust Elbows & Brake housing

  • Materials: SiMo and Ductile

  • Capacity: 77,000 MT

  • Process: Greensand manual ladle pour with SO2 cores

Ontario Machining Facilities

  • 17 CNC machining centres

  • 14 Multi-station special purpose machining lines

Michigan Machining Facilities:

  • 67 CNC machining centres

  • 2 Automated welding centres for cast and fabricated assemblies

North American Stainless Steel

  • Products: Exhaust Manifolds, Turbocharger Housings, Secondary Air Intake Tubes

  • Materials: Stainless Steel (various grades)

  • Foundry Process: Proprietary licensed investment casting

  • Machining Process:

    • 19 CNC machining centres
    • Laser and Tig Welding
    • Assembly

European Business Unit – Foundry & Machining

  • Products: Exhaust Manifolds, Turbocharger Housings, Integrated Turbo-Manifolds

  • Materials: SiMo, Ductile, CGI, NiResist, Stainless Steel

  • Capacity: 73,000 MT

  • Foundry Process: Greensand Automated Tilt Pour SO2 and Shell core
