Leadership Role
Alan’s role is to ensure that our HR strategy and programs are aligned with the business strategy so that we can create an environment where employees are motivated to achieve excellence. This can be realized through alignment with the vision for the organization, ensuring that employees have the capabilities they need through development and continuous learning and providing the resources required to perform effectively - which will result in the rewards and recognition that support a high performance culture.
Background
Alan has worked in highly successful global organizations in the chemical and consumer goods industries that achieved excellence by implementing Human Resource strategies that ensured that business objectives were met. In addition to his more than 20 years of Human Resource experience, Alan has also managed a Sales Business Unit and has been responsible for other functions such as Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Communications. Alan has worked in Canadian based companies and internationally in Europe and South Africa.
