As a solid foundation, Wescast’s operations in North America have the experience to support our global growth strategy. The North American Business Unit operates 4 production facilities in North America as well as local sales and design support through our office in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Wescast has felt the impact of the difficulties that North American automakers are experiencing with reduced market dominance and strong product competition from European and Asian OEMs. Our North American Business Unit is meeting these challenges with a restructuring strategy designed to position this segment of our business for long-term strength.
