Leadership Role

Paul's role is to build and maintain relationships at high levels with all existing and potential customers globally in order to communicate Wescast's capabilities, understand customers' long term needs and ensure the company explores all potential growth opportunities. He is responsible for translating market intelligence into sales and marketing strategies that are supported by our customers, and integrate into the overall corporate strategy of the company. Paul also concentrates his efforts on building benchstrength within our global sales community by assisting all individuals with personal and professional development needed to secure long-term business success for Wescast.

Background

Beginning in 1986, Paul spent three years in Toronto in Industrial Sales working for a multi-national company based in Denmark. In 1989 he went to a Sales/Customer Service position with Wescast Industries and held various sales positions up to 1994 when he became the Sales Manager accountable for all sales activities. In 1997, Paul was promoted to Vice President of Sales focusing on supporting Wescast with a global sales and marketing team, which presently has representation in North America, Germany, United Kingdom, France and Japan. Paul is a member of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association (APMA) as well as the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA).
